ReX TeX just dropped a killer presentation at the Brčko Economy Fair 2025 on October 16th – we proudly showed off our digital innovation lab right in the heart of the action. Our special guest was the awesome Anto Bilić, founder of the digital innovation lab in Travnik, running strong under SCU – Centre for Lifelong Learning Travnik, and also a proud member of the MIL network. We turned the stage into a real talk session: public presentation plus an open, no-BS discussion on what’s seriously broken in formal education these days, with special attention on how initiatives such as MIL and institutions such as FabLab B&H can help fixing this.

We didn’t hold back – outdated curricula, too little hands-on practice, almost zero room for real creativity and trial-and-error. Then we flipped it: shared concrete ideas on how innovation labs like ours in Brčko and Anto’s in Travnik can fix that gap. Open-access 3D printers, tools everyone can use, community projects, freedom to fail fast and learn faster – that’s the bridge from boring theory to building stuff that actually matters. Respect to Anto and the whole SCU team for bringing so much energy and smart thoughts to the table; it was pure collaboration gold.

The vibe was electric, ideas were flying, and we’re already plotting the next steps together.
