In collaboration with the Innovation Laboratory in Brčko, SEI Centre invites its users, partners, and the interested business community to a dedicated presentation on innovations, prototype development, and available EU support mechanisms for small and medium enterprises. The event takes place on Friday, 06 February 2026, starting at 14:00 in Brčko.

The workshop is organised together with the Digital Innovation Laboratory Brčko, established within the Network of Innovation Laboratories (MIL), created through the InnoXcellerate project. Today, innovation labs operate in Brčko, Mostar, Travnik, and Banja Luka, all focused on boosting the innovation potential of SMEs.

In Brčko, the innovation lab is run by the ReX TeX team, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities for plastic recycling, 3D modelling and printing, laser and machining processes. Through collaboration within the MIL network, additional services are available such as artificial intelligence, web design, and software development solutions.

The workshop will place special emphasis on concrete financial and technical support opportunities for entrepreneurs. Under the current project, funding is secured for the production of prototypes for 10 small and medium enterprises, along with a presentation of the EU voucher scheme BOOST 2.0. This scheme allows SMEs to implement projects worth up to 5,000 euros with only 10% own contribution, or up to 15,000 euros with 20% own contribution, while the rest is covered by EU funds.

The proposed agenda includes an opening address by SEI Centre representatives, an introduction to the Network of Innovation Laboratories and the Brčko Innovation Laboratory, presentation of the voucher scheme, followed by open discussion and participant questions.

The workshop is intended for entrepreneurs, startups, and representatives of small and medium enterprises who want to develop new products, improve business processes, or take advantage of available funds for innovation and technological development.
