Fifth Sarajevo Maker Faire 2026: Innovation Happens Everywhere

The world fair of science, innovation, technology and creative making invites you!

Association FabLab BiH invites you to join one of the most important innovation and technology events in Bosnia and Herzegovina – the Fifth Sarajevo Maker Faire 2026, which will take place on June 6, 2026, at Villa Braun in Sarajevo.

This year’s edition is titled „Innovation Happens Everywhere – innovations that come directly to local communities“.

Through this theme, we want to highlight the potential of schools, local communities, workshops, young people, teachers, makers and innovators across Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Fifth Sarajevo Maker Faire shows that great ideas can be born in any environment – they often just need the right support, access to technology and space to grow.

Sarajevo Maker Faire brings together makers, innovators, teachers, students and young people who actively shape the future through technology and creativity. It is a place where real-world challenges turn into concrete solutions, and ideas gain visibility, support and the opportunity for further development.

A special role in this year’s programme belongs to FabMobile, the first mobile high-tech innovation laboratory in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region. FabMobile serves as a tool that brings modern technologies directly to communities, schools and young people across the country, enabling them to work practically, experiment and develop real solutions through:

• collaborative and autonomous robots
• 3D printing and CNC technologies
• PLC control systems
• drones and IoT platforms
• AR/VR technologies

During 2026, activities realised across Bosnia and Herzegovina will be presented through the most successful projects at the Fifth Sarajevo Maker Faire.

The event will open on June 6, 2026, at 10:00 and close at 17:00 CET. Visitors will have the chance to explore various exhibition content, learn about project development and take part in STEM workshops in robotics, electronics, programming, chemistry, biology and mathematics.
